Domain Name Expiration

Once you have registered your domain, you will be able to use your domain within the subscription period. You will need to renew it before it expires to avoid any downtime or issues.

However, If you allow it to expire, you will still have 30 days to renew the domain for the renewal amount. If you were not able to renew it within the renewal period, it will go for redemption.

Redemption period is around (less than) 30 days and it will not be the same renewal price. It can cost hundreds of dollars (typically $150 plus).

If you were not able to redeem fhe domain during the redemption period, it will be deleted. Once it has been deleted it will be avaialable again for regiatration. It can be registered by anyone at this point.
